What is opt SHR hair removal?

OPT (Optimum Pulse Light)  is an advanced and improved version of Intense Pulse Light (IPL). OPT SHR Laser is a new technology of permanent hair removal which is having a sweeping success.

SHR (Super Hair Removal) is a new technology of permanent hair removal, with target pure wavelength , which works in a high repetition rate of short pulses ,by gradually heating the dermis to a temperature that effectively damages the hair follicles and prevents re-growth painlessly, while avoiding injury to the surrounding tissue.

Is SHR same as IPL?

​​SHR (super hair removal) is similar to an IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatment. The main difference is that the SHR device dispenses light energy with a higher frequency at a lower temperature compared to IPL devices.

Which is better SHR or diode?

Result of Study. The alexandrite laser is slightly more effective with fair skin types; the SHR mode is clearly more effective with dark skin types. Regarding painfulness, the SHR mode is clearly superior. In terms of speed, the two systems are comparable.

What is the difference between OPT and IPL hair removal?

OPT machine uses the sweeping super hair removal method, the frequency could up to 10Hz. Basic IPL hair removal needs several seconds for the next shot. The research proves OPT hair reduction mode is 2 to 3 times faster than the IPL method.

Does SHR work on blonde hair?

Despite the lower heat level SHR is more effective than other approaches, being very effective on red, blonde or almost white hair, which are otherwise not removable with pure laser treatments, and also unlike pure laser and traditional IPL, almost all skin types (Fitzpatrick skin types 1-5) can be treated.
